“Wait!" he yelled. I didn't turn around, I walked faster. Then I heard him slam his fist on the hood of his car. I almost stopped. Maybe I would have if he'd followed me. But he didn't. He got in his car and he left, just like he said he would.” +

okay so i kinda feel the need to let all my taylor swift love out.

taylor swift is pure genius. she`s managed to create an empire for herself at such a young age. how many so-called artists you see nowadays being a part of the whole musical process as much as she does, from the very first line of a song to producing it, to arranging the stage to be exactly how she pictured it so she can sing it with the same passion and enthusiasm she`s been delivering since the last decade? not a lot, huh? and the weird thing is she gets hate for doing what every other ˜good˜ artist is praised for: being completely honest. you don`t like her songs? fine. but don`t tell me she`s not a good singer with great songwriting abilities (go listen to all too well, last kiss, fifteen, state of grace, dear john, or cold as you -a song she wrote for her 1st album, released when she was fucking sixteen years old- and tell me she isn`t gifted). sometimes i think it`s her image. people see her as this blonde pop-country girl that sings about love and break-ups and people being mean to her, and they forget to listen to the actual lyrics and realize that she is awesome. she`s able to transform a tiny little moment into something bigger than life. i bet if it was some indie band singing her songs, people would be very pleased. and slut-shaming her for dating guys? that`s just pathetic. and sexist. so yeah, i like taylor swift. no, not because she`s cute and famous and sweet. i like her because she`s one of the few true artists we have these days. and that`s pretty damn amazing to me.
